Diversity

We Prioritize diversity

Our church deeply values the beauty in God's diversity; not only our differences in national origin and ethnicity or skin color, but also our differences in physical or mental ability, our spectrum of gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation, our variety of social and economic status.

In his letter to the churches in Galatia, the apostle Paul writes, "There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male or female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28 NRSV)

This does not mean our differences disappear, rather it means our differences don't divide us. And in fact, Christ makes room for more than binary differences. The beautiful spectrum in which we live, are what intersect us into connection so that we can delight in God's full creation, and God will delight in us.
